After battling with ants, rodents, weeds and rose bushes gone wild..... I've decided to totally raise everything to the ground and start from scratch.  

Phase one is clearing weeds, cutting roses and dismantling the existing raised beds.  The beds have been there for the best part of six years and rotting in places.  Need to dispose of all that stuff though, and don't think the neighbours will be happy to have smoke from a bonfire floating over their gardens!... might just burn a little at a time... we'll see.

Once the clearing is done all I have to do is lay down weed control material and hope it works!

Phase two will start in August...!?  Hopefully :)
